01 — What it does
A Christmas Pictionary word list generator for the holidays
December is peak Pictionary season, and this free Christmas Pictionary word list generator is loaded with festive words to draw — Santa Claus, reindeer, mistletoe, gingerbread, candy cane, snowman, the Grinch, Rudolph and dozens more. Tap Generate and one holiday word appears in big type with the 60-second timer ready to go. No cards to lose, no printing, no sign-up, and no pop-up ads interrupting the fun.
The category is already set to Christmas, so you can start immediately. It is built for family gatherings, office holiday parties, classroom December activities and cosy Christmas Eve game nights.
02 — The four themes
Christmas words from four festive themes
A good holiday word list is not just “things that are red and green”. This generator draws from the four classic Christmas categories, so every round feels seasonal without getting repetitive. There are songs and carols like Jingle Bells, Silent Night and Deck the Halls; food and traditions like gingerbread house, eggnog, stocking and wrapping paper; characters and movies like Rudolph, the Grinch, Frosty the Snowman, Home Alone and Elf; and winter activities like ice skating, sledding and snowball fights.
Mixing those four themes keeps a festive game fresh for a long stretch and gives every kind of player something they know — the carol singers, the movie fans, the bakers and the snow-day crowd all get their moment.

03 — Party tips
How to run a Christmas Pictionary game
A festive Pictionary game is one of the easiest ways to get a holiday party going. These four tips make it smooth for a big, mixed family group.
🎄
Cast it to the TV
Put the big word display on the living-room screen so the whole family can watch each drawing appear. The picturist reads the word, then turns to a whiteboard or pad to draw.
★
Split into festive teams
Two teams is plenty. Give them Christmassy names, keep score on a scrap of wrapping paper, and rotate the picturist each round so everyone draws.
⏱
Adjust the timer for the group
60 seconds is classic, but for little ones or a tipsy adult table, bump it to 90 or 120 seconds with the dropdown so more words get guessed.
✦
Make cards ahead of time
Use Generate list to print a stack of holiday words, cut them up, and drop them in a Santa hat for a no-screen version around the dinner table.
04 — When to use it
Great for every December gathering
Because it is free, quick and screen-friendly, the Christmas generator fits any holiday setting: family game nights, work parties, classroom activities in the run-up to the break, church and community events, and quiet Christmas Eve evenings at home. It is a warm, low-effort way to get people of every age drawing and laughing together — all you need is the device and something to draw on.
Playing with a very young crowd? Combine it with the kids word generator for the simplest festive words, or head to the main generator to mix Christmas words with everything else once the season is over.

05 — Rules
Christmas Pictionary rules
The rules are the same as classic Pictionary, just with a festive word list. Split into teams; each round one player generates a holiday word and draws it while their team guesses against the timer. No letters, numbers or symbols on the page, no talking and no pointing. A guess counts when it matches the displayed word — most groups are generous with near-misses at a party. Rotate the picturist so everyone gets a turn, and use the duration dropdown to set a round length that suits your crowd.
